FAQs

Where can I find all of your upcoming courses?

Click right here and we will take you to all of our upcoming TGC Level 1 courses.

Is your course for coaches or athletes?

Our course is a coaching development course that also allows athletes the ability to make more progress, faster and safer through more proper technique and intelligent assessments, interventions and progressions.

Do I need a CrossFit Level 1 (or similar certification) to attend?

No, the only “education” prerequisites for attending our course are having an open mind, a growth mindset and a desire to learn and improve.

Do you provide CEU hours?

Yes, as a CrossFit® Preferred Course Provider, successful completion of our course (full attendance Saturday & Sunday, 9am-5pm; no test) will award the registrant 14 CEU hours.

Is there a test for The Gymnastics Course Level 1/Advanced face to face courses?

No, there is no test for either our Level 1 or Advanced courses. However, there is an attendance requirement of 100% of the seminar in person; Saturday & Sunday, 9am-5pm.

  • The Gymnastic Course Online Seminar does have a 50 question exam at the end.

Do I need to have a specific fitness level to attend?

No, our course is infinitely scalable and progression based, just as an appropriate fitness program should be. With a staff running 12 years long, we have a broad range of experience with abilities ranging from Games athletes to novice 60+ age group Masters.

What if I can’t do “XXX”?

Can’t do a pull-up, handstand walk, muscle-up or (insert any other movement)? Doesn’t matter. We’ll give you an assessment of where you’re at, what your biggest limitations are and a logical, effective progressive plan for getting to your goals.

What if I can already do “XXX”?

So you can consistently string together double digit sets of toes to bar, maybe you’ve got a strict muscle-up or two. Why should you come? Because you need to learn and understand your limitations of mobility, skill or strength that are keeping you from progressing beyond the standards. Take a opportunity to re-approach the foundations of gymnastics that let you continue to develop more advanced skills.

What if I don’t coach?

If you don’t coach, you have a chance to approach the course through the lens of developing an “RX” of understanding. Gain a fundamental understanding of some of the most important foundational gymnastic shapes, positions and skills to help fix bad habits, avoid injury and improve performance.

Is there a deadline for registration?

No, registrations are available until the start of the course or until sellout/waitlist. However, due to our advanced assignments of staffing it is recommended to register as early as possible.

The Gymnastics Course reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Some courses are set in local currency with pricing exchange set at time of course creation. Pricing is applicable at the time registration is opened. Applicable local taxes are added at checkout.
